Community Impact

Powering More Than Homes. Powering People.

At Corrigan Electric, we believe that doing the job right means doing more than just electrical work. We don’t just serve homes and businesses across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. We invest in the schools, programs, and people who shape our community every day.

Whether it's volunteering for local charities or helping students explore careers in the trades, our impact goes beyond the jobsite. Because for us, the most meaningful work we do is often off the clock and close to home.

How We Give Back

Support for Local Schools and Youth Programs

We work closely with education partners to help students discover careers in the trades.

  • Academies of Louisville – Career pathway exposure and jobsite visits

  • Bullitt County & Jefferson County Schools – Corrigan Career Academy involvement

  • YouthBuild – Real-world training and community construction collaboration

  • KentuckianaWorks – Workforce development and mentorship

From speaking in classrooms to hosting student tours, we’re helping prepare the next generation of licensed professionals and showing them that a career in the trades is something to be proud of.

Hands-On Community Projects

We believe in showing up to support great causes with real, tangible help.

  • Norton Charity House – Annual electrical support for fundraising builds

  • Playhouse Projects / Home Builders Foundation – Donated labor for auction builds

  • St. Michael’s Catholic School – Sponsorship of events, signage, and support drives

These efforts let our electricians give back while doing what they do best. And they’re often the jobs that stick with us the longest.

Industry-Rooted, Community-Minded

Corrigan Electric is proud to be an active member of the J-Town Chamber of Commerce, and to hold leadership roles in organizations like the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) and the Building Industry Association (BIA). These partnerships reflect our long-standing commitment to raising the bar for quality, safety, and opportunity in the trades.

Investing in People, Not Just Projects

Through our in-house Corrigan Career Academy, we train the next generation of licensed electricians. Many of our apprentices come directly from the schools and youth programs we support.

We don’t just hire. We mentor. We don’t just build. We invest.

The Work That Matters Most

We install panels, service homes, upgrade systems, and keep power flowing safely. But the work we’re proudest of? It’s the kind that changes lives. A student shadowing one of our crews and realizing this is their future. A nonprofit getting their doors open thanks to a volunteer install. A young person discovering they’re good with their hands and great with their future.

That’s the kind of impact that lasts. That’s what it means to be on the Corrigan team.

And when you hire Corrigan, you’re not just powering your property. You’re helping power the future of your community.

You know us at Corrigan, give us a call. Your Electrician!
